Scrapers and data tools under hard caps
Agents that fetch real-world data need scrapers and data tools, and a way to keep that spend in check.
The stack
An MCP client (Claude Code, Cursor, LibreChat and more), apifare as the MCP server (stdio or streamable HTTP), and the data tools on the key: YouTube, Google Maps, Amazon, TikTok, Reddit and more. Each brand has an API guide, and every tool is in the tool catalog.
Under hard caps
- Reserve, then settle. A tool run reserves credits up front and settles to the run's true cost, never above its listed ceiling. Each tool's page shows its numbers.
- Caps checked before dispatch. Daily or monthly caps per agent.
- A kill switch that acts on the very next call.
- Refunds when a provider call fails.
- A signed audit chain you can export.
Tools that need your own account
Some tools only run on your own provider account; they are marked "your key". Vault your token once through a one-time link and the same call runs under your own authority. Never paste provider keys into chat.
