Terms of service

Terms, in plain language

Effective: [to be set at HK incorporation]. Contracting party: [apifare HK entity] — until incorporation, the current operator. Questions: POST /v1/support or GitHub issues.

The service

apifare provides a prepaid, metered balance your AI agents spend on eligible capabilities. 1 credit = $0.01. The listed per-call price is the billed price. Failed provider calls are refunded in credits automatically. Trial credits expire 14 days after signup; purchased credits do not expire. Credits are redeemable only against apifare-metered capabilities, are not cash, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be transferred between accounts.

Lawful use and third-party platforms (flow-down)

You may use apifare only for lawful purposes. Where a capability reaches a third-party platform (including Apify Store actors), you are responsible for complying with that platform's terms and applicable data-protection law; capabilities marked byok-only run under YOUR provider account and authority, not apifare's. apifare may refuse, cap, or pause any route.

Your controls, our controls

Per-agent caps, allowlists, and the kill switch are yours. Balance caps, provider spend alarms, and route pauses are ours — safety features, not punishments. Auto-refill runs only after your explicit consent and within the limits you set; cancel any time.

Credentials

Keys you vault are encrypted per-tenant and injected server-side only; no endpoint returns them. Management credentials act behind action allowlists; destructive, billing, and membership routes never forward.

Data

We log call metadata (route, price, latency, status), never request/response bodies. The signed audit chain is exportable by you.

apifare. This page is the human-readable summary; it and the error catalog (/errors) are the operative docs until the HK-cutover legal review lands. See also the privacy policy.
